Description

Liquid Paraffin (90 ml) is a versatile, colorless, and odorless mineral oil primarily used as an emollient to hydrate dry skin (eczema, dermatitis) or as a lubricant laxative for treating constipation. It works by forming a protective barrier, reducing moisture loss in skin, or softening stools. Skin Care: Treats dry, itchy, scaly, or irritated skin by providing deep moisture and conditioning.
Constipation: Acts as a lubricant laxative to ease stool passage in cases of piles, fissures, or for bedridden patients.
Application (Skin): Apply gently to affected areas (knees, elbows, hands) to seal in hydration.
Usage (Internal): Usually taken at bedtime to relieve constipation within 6 to 8 hours.
Precautions:
Avoid using it for more than one week without consulting a doctor.
Take other medications 2 hours apart, as it can hinder absorption.
Do not use if you have known allergies to liquid paraffin.
Side Effects: Generally safe, but may cause diarrhea if taken orally.
